3. 词链儿：It doesn't work.

不管用；不奏效；这行不通

→ it don't always work 口语中的不严谨

正确用法是：It doesn't always work.

4. 词链儿：try one's best to do XX  

尽最大努力去做XX/竭尽所能去做XX

→否定表达：try one's best not to do XX

→近义表达：

• spare no efforts with might and main

Sasha Alex Sloan（莎夏·雅莉克丝·斯隆，1995年3月11日），美国歌手及词曲作家，因与凯戈合作的单曲《This Town》出名。

2015年，Sasha参与合作Kaskade的歌曲《Phoenix》，并因其作词而受到赞誉。随后为Idina Menzel，Maggie Lindemann和Camila Cabello等歌手创作。2017年，Sasha出现在Kygo的歌曲《This Town》中，极具辨识度的声音让人流连忘返，从此打开知名度。 

2019年2月6日，Sasha Sloan在Stephen Colbert的“he Late Show”上演唱EP的主打歌曲《Older》。这是她首次在美国电视节目上亮相。
